Students’ Scientific Society of the department.

The assistant Umanova N.E. is responsible for the work of students' scientific society of the department. Meetings of society are hold regularly and are devoted to the most topical issues of stomatology. Members of SSS together with the staff of the department actively participate in development of scientific theme of the department. By results of researches prepare scientific articles, theses of reports, presentations and participate at conferences of young scientists and students, in various forums in the republic and beyond. Reports of members more than once took prizes at student's scientific conferences.

On April 25-26, 2013 at the 1st Moscow state medical university named after I.M. Sechenov in All-Russian scientific student's conference with international participation "Spring in medicine" under the supervisor of MD Dzhuraeva Sh.F. 4 reports were prepared. The student of the 3rd year Bakhrom Latifi became a prize-winner for the best report on "Stomatology".

In September, 2013 in ATSMU the Olympiad of young stomatologists with international participation where took part students of stomatoloical faculties from Kazakstan and Kirgizistan was held. In these Olympiad students of stomatological faculty of ATSMU received the 2nd place.

Since October 24-25, 2013 in the international Olympiad which took place in Moscow 3 residents of the department received the 2nd places.

In October, 2014 at the 1st Moscow state medical university named after I.M. Sechenov in All-Russian scientific student's conference with the international participation under the leadership of MD Dzhuraeva Sh.F. three students received 3rd places for the best reports.

On March25, 2016 at the 1st Moscow state medical university named after I.M. Sechenov in the IV All-Russian student's Olympiad with the international participation on propaedeutics of dental diseases "The first steps in stomatology" under the leadership of Tokhtakhojaeva S.T. the student of the 2nd course of stomatological faculty Murodi Amon was awarded with the nomination from the dental company "President".

On March31, 2017 at the 1st Moscow state medical university named after I.M. Sechenov in the V All-Russian student's Olympiad with the international participation on propaedeutics of dental diseases "The first steps in stomatology" under the leadership of Tokhtakhodzhayeva S.T. the student of the 2nd course of stomatological faculty Mulojonova Nodirabegim was awarded with the nomination from the dental company "President".

Research work.

Employees actively are engaged in scientific work. The scientific direction of department is "Justification of clinic, optimization of diagnostics and methods of complex treatment of patients with endodonto- parodontal pathology". 1 candidate dissertation is carried out at the department. The degree of the department is 33,3%. The staff of the department made a great contribution in the development of stomatology in Tajikistan, for 2013-2018 48 scientific articles, 53 theses, 1 inventions, 2 innovation proposals are published.

In December 26, 2015 assistant of the preventive dentistry department Bekmurodov B.A. (scientific supervisor - MD, Dzhurayeva Sh.F.) defended the candidate dissertation on the subject "Improvement of Methods of endodontic Treatment and Aesthetic Restoration of Frontal Group of Teeth".
