Medical advisory work

The medical and advisory work of the department’s employees is carried out both on a clinical basis and in the form of sanitation in various regions of the republic. The RCSC provides highly qualified and specialized medical care to sick children with general surgical pathology, diseases of the organs of the chest and abdominal cavities, genitourinary system, with combined trauma, purulent infection and surgical sepsis, exogenous poisoning.

Every year, from 8 to 10 thousand children turn to RCCH, from 5 to 7 thousand patients are hospitalized and receive treatment, 2.0-2.5 thousand patients receive outpatient care. From 4.5 to 5.5 thousand surgical interventions were performed annually on the basis of the RCC. The work of the children's visiting advisory and resuscitation brigade at the RCCH contributed to a marked reduction in the daily mortality rate in the clinic.
