As part of the guidance of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the distinguished Emomali Rahmon, to provide comprehensive assistance to vulnerable sectors of the society, in particular the disabled, orphans and the elderly, 5th year students of 44th group of the Faculty of Medicine together with Associate Professor, Department of Family Medicine No. 2 Nosirova M.P. in honor of the international holiday Navruz, held a cultural and educational event - a visit to the Territorial Center for Social Services for the Elderly and Disabled, the city of Dushanbe. The center provides temporary accommodation, day care, meals, food delivery to home, the development of labor skills. The center has a laundry and a hairdresser. Escort of clients in resort and sanatorium institutions. The main tasks of the territorial center is to provide temporary residence for single elderly citizens, people with disabilities who need household and medical care.

According to the head of the institution a few years ago, they rarely received elderly Tajiks, abandoned by children, but now this trend is gaining momentum.

Together with them, students brought cakes, daily necessities and hygiene products, which greatly pleased the residents of the nursing home. The mass of positive emotions was caused by the active participation of the teacher and students in a conversation with people who, unfortunately, were no longer needed by their closest relatives.

At the end of this event, the residents of the House expressed their gratitude with the warmest words, gave instructions to the young generation and wished the students creative and life successes.
