On December 18, 2025, under the guidance of associate professor of the Department of propaedeutics of children diseases Abdullaeva N.A. and assistant for educational work Ashurova N.P. students of the 46th and 56th groups of the 3rd year of medical faculty of the SEI “ATSMU” on New Year’s Eve organized a festive performance with the participation of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden in the children's pulmonology department and the department of immunology and allergology of the SI "Istiqlol medical Complex".

On the eve of the New Year, children who are in hospital need a moment of joy, a sense of fairy tales and magic. The students paid attention to the children, expressed words of support to their parents and tried to create a warm, festive atmosphere. Communication with young patients contributed to the improvement of their emotional state and the formation of a positive psychological attitude, which is important in the process of treatment and recovery. A cultural and leisure program for children was prepared and held. Students played thematic scenes timed to coincide with the New Year holidays, read poems, performed songs and dance numbers, and also presented sweet gifts to create a New Year's mood for patients and their parents. This event was organized as part of educational and social work aimed at forming professional, moral and ethical qualities, mercy and humane attitude to patients in future doctors, and also emphasizes the social importance of the medical profession.

The positive emotions received during the holiday will definitely be beneficial; the children will recover and celebrate the New Year at home.
