WHO reported a 13% increase of COVID-19 deaths

The World Health Organization (WHO) informed that the number of deaths from the coronavirus has increased by 13 percent, AMIT Khovar reported with reference to TASS.

It should be noted that between December 26th and January 22nd , more than 11 million people were infected with the COVID-19 disease and more than 55,000 people died. The organization reported that the number of people infected with COVID-19 decreased by 25 percent compared to the previous 28 days.

From January 16th to 22nd , Japan (672,526 people) and the United States (323,721 people) had the most infections.

As of January 25th , WHO had recorded 664,873,023 cases of coronavirus infection and 6,724,248 deaths since the pandemic began.
