MEETING OF RECTOR OF THE UNIVERSITY WITH FOURTH-YEAR STUDENTS
On May 16 of this year in the hall "Sino" of the Administrative-educational Building of the SEI “Avicenna Tajik State Medical University” was held a meeting of the rector of the SEI “Avicenna Tajik State Medical University” d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali with the fourth year students of all faculties. The meeting was also attended by professors and lecturers of the university, University Council staff and deans and deputy deans of faculties.
At the beginning the rector of the University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q. welcoming those present, noted that the University Administration in order to implement instructions and assignments of the Founder of peace and national unity - the Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon concerning the improvement of the level and quality of educational process and decisions and orders of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan acts in education, scientific research, medical and agricultural research. According to the plans, the University Administration annually holds talks and meetings with students and lecturers of all courses of the faculties, and is closely familiarized with their achievements and problems.
Today, the fourth-year students with whom we are meeting are in preparation for the transition to the fifth year, and the dental and pharmacy students are in their final year, which is the period of preparation for their state examinations and graduation. Therefore, they should take advantage of every minute and engage in mastering the science of medicine in order to be worthy of the honorable title of student and graduate of this storehouse of wisdom and the true heir of the wise Sinai. It was also emphasized that in the coming days, fourth-year students will be mobilized for on-the-job training, where they will have more to do with patients.
By tradition, motivation points are awarded to students who do well in their studies and actively participate in the public affairs of the university and city and national level events at the Medical University. Every year a large number of teachers are sent abroad under contract to continue their education as part of mutually beneficial cooperation, and this number of teachers is given priority.
The rector of the university noted that to date, credit and oral examinations are held in the university completely transparently, and in case of bribery and any cases of violation of the law, you should contact directly to the leadership of the university.
The rector of the university also spoke about the observance of recommended clothing for students, inadmissibility of imitation of foreign clothes, inadmissibility of joining terrorist and extremist groups and movements undesirable for the society.
It was stressed that service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, protection of borders and homeland is the proud duty of every citizen. Fortunately, the number of volunteers from among the teachers of the ATSMU is increasing every year, and those who wish can sign up and go to the proud military service. Certainly, they are given preference and priority in professional separation and training.
Professor Gulzoda M.Q. emphasized that today Avicenna Tajik State Medical University has created all opportunities for effective learning. The modern and electronic library of the university has a large amount of educational, literary and journalistic literature, but, unfortunately, the number of students using it to the fullest extent is not satisfactory. On the initiative and with the direct support of the great leader of the nation, the university operates two simulation training centers, which have no analogues in Central Asia, in which students have to master practical skills.
In continuation of the meeting fourth-year students asked various questions about training, examinations and further work in health care and social protection of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan and the process of continuous medical education. gave concrete answers.
At the end of the meeting, the Rector of the University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q. to the fourth year students of all faculties they wished them luck in their further study, passing exams and successful completion of the university, wished them success and prosperity.
