THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN THE FIGHT AGAINST TERRORISM
Youth is one of the most active and promising forces in society. The future of the state largely depends on their worldview, education, and civic position. In the modern era of globalization, when information spread instantly, humanity faces not only new opportunities but also serious threats. One of these global problems is terrorism and religious extremism.
Combating terrorism is not only the task of law enforcement agencies and the state. To effectively counter this social evil, active participation of young people, their awareness, patriotism, and a high level of education are necessary.
The Concept and Essence of Terrorism.
Terrorism is the use of violence, intimidation, and threats in order to achieve political, religious, or ideological goals. It represents a dangerous phenomenon that undermines the foundations of morality, culture, and social security. Terrorist organizations often exploit the feelings of believers, distorting the true values of religion in order to involve young people in criminal activities.
Thus, understanding the essence of terrorism and the mechanisms of its influence on the consciousness of youth becomes one of the most important tasks of modern science and education.
1. How Youth are attracted to terrorism?
2. Reasons for the involvement of Youth in Extremist Movements.
Research shows that the reasons for the involvement of young people in radical organizations are diverse. Among the most significant factors are the following:
1. Low level of education and worldview.
The lack of knowledge about national and spiritual values makes young people vulnerable to false propaganda.
2. Social and economic instability.
Unemployment and a sense of hopelessness can drive individuals towards a path of violence.
3. Information pressure on the internet.
Social networks have become a powerful tool for spreading extremist ideals and recruiting young people.
4. Distortion of religious principles.
Extremists use religion as a cover, turning sacred concepts into instruments of political manipulation.
Therefore, the fight against terrorism is impossible without enlightenment, education, and the development of strong moral foundations among the youth.
The Role of Educational Institutions and the Family
Educational institutions, especially schools and universities, play a crucial role in shaping the worldview of young people. Teachers should provide not only academic knowledge but also instill humanistic, patriotic, and socio-moral values in their students.
The family, as the child’s first social environment, also plays a significant role in nurturing love for the homeland, respect for others, and rejection of violence. Parents should discuss with their children the risks and dangers associated with dubious groups to prevent them from being deceived by the external attractiveness of such movements.
If every mother pays attention to her child from an early age, encourages reading, shows interest in the child’s school life, and discusses books with them, the child will develop a love for reading and a desire for knowledge. I believe that such children will never choose the wrong-path.

I believe that such children will never go down the wrong path. We, as mothers, must raise our children from an early age so that in the future they grow up to be good people who love their homeland and serve it faithfully. Much of this depends on maternal upbringing. As the saying goes: Good upbringing is the pride of the nation, while poor upbringing is the shame of the homeland.
