In the history of every nation, there are periods when the fate of statehood and national existence is decided. For the Tajik people, such a sensitive and decisive period was the early 1990s, which, along with the collapse of the Soviet Union and the achievement of state independence, was marked by instability, political crisis, and civil war.

In these complex and difficult circumstances, a figure emerged on the political stage who was able to transform the destiny of the nation - this outstanding statesman was Emomali Rahmon.

It was precisely under the leadership of the Leader of the Nation that the Republic of Tajikistan was saved from fragmentation and the threat of losing its statehood, and set on the path of peace, unity, and sustainable development.

If we look at the history of Tajik statehood, the figure of Emomali Rahmon can be compared with one of the great founders of national statehood, Ismoili Somoni. This is because both played decisive roles during highly sensitive historical periods in preserving the state and uniting the nation.

One of the key achievements of the Leader of the Nation is the revival of national statehood and the strengthening of its legal foundations. The adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, the establishment of important state institutions, and the formation of a modern system of governance contributed to the stability of the state.

In foreign policy as well, the esteemed Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon has succeeded in presenting Tajikistan as an independent state on the international stage. Through his international initiatives, particularly in the fields of water and climate, Tajikistan has become an active and influential country.

All of this demonstrates that the head of state enjoys high respect and authority not only within the country, but also at the global level.

If we consider the activities of the Leader of the Nation from a historical perspective, we can see that, like Ismail Somoni in his time, he was able to unite the nation, strengthen the state, and create the foundations for further development. If Ismail Somoni revived Tajik statehood in the Middle Ages, Emomali Rahmon rebuilt it in the modern era and brought it to a qualitatively new level.

Today, on the eve of the 35th anniversary of State Independence, Tajikistan has become a stable, secure, and steadily developing country. All these achievements have been made possible thanks to the wise policies of the Leader of the Nation and his continuous efforts. Emomali Rahmon, as the Leader of the Nation, is not only a political leader but also a symbol of unity, stability, and progress in Tajikistan.

It can be stated with confidence that the role of the Leader of the Nation in the revival of modern Tajik statehood is unique and historic. He was able to save the country from crisis, guide it onto the path of development, and realize the long-held aspirations of the Tajik people. For this reason, the name of Emomali Rahmon will be inscribed in the pages of the nation’s history as the founder of the modern Tajik state in golden letters.
