Today, December 14, the current year the Minister of Health and Social Protection of population of the Republic of Tajikistan Jamoliddin Abdullozoda met with a group of international experts of the World Health Organization (WHO) consisting of Satish Mishra, Kahal Morgan and Sue Eitel at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Tajikistan. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Shodikhon Jamshed, heads of departments and specialized subdivisions of the Ministry.

Minister of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Jamoliddin Abdullozoda was the first to welcome the guests at the Ministry and expressed his satisfaction with the mutually beneficial cooperation between the Ministry and this reputable organization.

It should be noted that the purpose of the WHO delegation's visit to Tajikistan is to develop recommendations and define strategic directions for the joint project on strengthening the health sector in the country, analyze the status of rehabilitation and develop projects on strengthening the rehabilitation and assistive devices, and provide technical assistance within the Program "Disability and Rehabilitation for 2023-2028".

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the current state of the sphere of authority in the country, as well as presented their recommendations and proposals for the development of the sphere.
