Scientific and technical cooperation between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and Yale University of the United States of America has been established. Regarding the beginning of cooperation, on January 7 of this year, the First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Ghafur Muhsinzoda met with representatives of this university, led by Professors Fredrik Altis and Lynn Maden at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan. At the same time, the meeting was also attended by the head of the International Institute for Health and Research in New York, Orash Aloi, and other officials of the Ministry.

In particular, the collaboration includes technical and scientific assistance from this university in the prevention and treatment of a number of diseases, including HIV, hepatitis B and C, etc.
