On December 8, 2023 at the department of propaedeutics of children’s diseases, the assistant of the department Rakhmatullaeva M.A. held an open lesson on the topic: "Teacher - the second parent". The speakers of the presentation were the students of the 3rd year, 51 group of medical faculty Yusupova S. and Yarmukhamedova S.

Teacher is one of the most difficult professions. The main task of a teacher is to transfer his knowledge to his students and teach them to apply this knowledge in practice. The word "pedagogy" in translation from ancient Greek means literally "child guidance, child studies". To be a good teacher, you need to love what you teach and love those you teach. Teacher's qualities: citizenship - social responsibility; readiness of the personality to contribute actively and energetically to the solution of public problems; love for children - humanism, benevolence, clarity, responsiveness and attentiveness; optimism - belief in the power and possibilities of positive development of the student; fairness; sociability; demanding to oneself and children; altruism - unselfishness; volitional qualities; tolerance; pedagogical observation; empathy; intellectuality; creativity.

The profession of teacher advantages and disadvantages, which are closely intertwined, is very challenging and probably one of the most difficult. The positive side is constant communication with children. If you love them, then teaching will bring you incomparable pleasure. To be with students all the time, to listen to their opinions, to see sincere smiles is worth a lot. State work, social guarantees that it gives, and stability can also be attributed to the advantages. An unconditional plus is also a constant work on yourself, self-study, because progress goes forward, and knowledge must be given, and do it in step with the times. The main tasks that the teacher solves: introducing students to the state laws and the need to comply with them, the formation of moral principles in students, as well as such qualities as respect, tolerance, kindness, the development of dignity and self-respect, education in students hard work, responsibility and patriotism. Development in the need to maintain a healthy lifestyle. An important task of a teacher is to be an example and mentor for his/her students. The primary duty of every teacher is to be able to find a personal approach to any student. World Teachers' Day is marked in the national calendars of more than 100 countries. The UN officially established a holiday for people of this important profession in 1994.
