VISIT OF THE MINISTER OF HEALTH OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS TO THE UNIVERSITY
Today, a delegation led by the Honourable Mr. Alexander Valeryevich Khodzhaev, Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus, paid a visit to the State Educational Institution “Avicenna Tajik State Medical University.” This visit is regarded as a clear testimony to the strengthening of friendly relations and the development of high-level cooperation between the two countries in the fields of healthcare and education.
During the visit, the distinguished guest toured the Simulation Centre of the University, where he was introduced to its technical and educational facilities. Special emphasis was placed on the Centre’s role in improving the quality of practical training and in preparing highly qualified specialists in the medical field.
A bilateral meeting was also held between the Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus, Honourable Mr. Alexander Valeryevich Khodzhaev, and the Rector of the University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Muhiddin Nuriddin Davlatali. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and respect, with both sides stressing the importance of developing strategic partnership.
It was underlined that future cooperation in areas such as the exchange of advanced medical experience, strengthening academic ties, implementing joint scientific projects, and expanding academic mobility programmes would provide a solid foundation for enhancing the healthcare and medical education systems of both countries. The parties expressed their strong commitment to mobilize all available opportunities for the practical implementation of these initiatives.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Honourable Minister signed the University’s Guest Book, leaving his best wishes as a symbol of respect, friendship, and the commitment to further cooperation.
