Today, 28.12.2023, in the main hall of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University and its other structural units was held a collective watching live TV broadcast of the Address of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the nation Honorable Emomali Rahmon to Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan teaching by staff, employees and students. In his regular Address the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the nation Emomali Rahmon paid special attention to the solution of global problems, including climate change, poverty reduction in the country, rapid industrialization of the country. He also emphasized improving the knowledge of adolescents and young people and training young cadres.

Head of state Honorable Emomali Rahmon, during his Address, ordered that from July 1, 2024, labor insurance payments, as well as their additional payments, will be increased by 30 percent of the established amount. Also, from July 1, 2024, official salaries of employees of state authorities and public administration, education, science, culture, sports, health care, social institutions, other social organizations, as well as scholarships will be increased by 40 percent. From July 1, 2024, the minimum wage for all sectors of the economy and social sphere of the country should be set at the level of 800 somoni per month.
