The tendency of combating terrorism and extremism shows that prevention of these undesirable phenomena today requires unity and coordination of activities of all state bodies and different layers of society. Therefore, the Republic of Tajikistan, considered one of the subjects of international relations, is at the forefront of the fight against terrorism to protect peace and stability, security and safety of its compatriots. The Republic of Tajikistan, which has experienced a conflict on its territory, is well aware of the tragic consequences of the activities of international extremist-terrorist organizations and, in the years of independence, has been a supporter of the ongoing and organized fight against extremism and terrorism.

The Founder of peace and national unity - Leader of the nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon in his Message to Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on December 28, 2023 noted that: "Remember the complex and alarming situation in the region and the world, modern threats and dangers of terrorism, extremism and other organized transnational crime and stressed that it is necessary to take additional measures to ensure the defense security of the country."

The state and the Government of Tajikistan use all possibilities in the fight against this plague of the century. Possessing information about destructive acts of terrorism and extremism is the need of the time, and ignorance and unawareness of such serious threats to humanity complicates life on the human planet. The situation of the modern world makes every person to take the words of the Respected Head of state Emomali Rahmon as the main exercise in his work, to be constantly vigilant and savvy and fight against all destructive elements, terrorism and extremism in mental, legal, socio-political and ideological unity.
