After obtaining independence, our dear country Tajikistan presented itself in international relations as an independent subject of international law, stating that its activities as a sovereign state are aimed at achieving lasting peace, eliminating nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction, ruthlessly combating terrorism. and religious extremism, preventing the use of force in resolving disputes and disagreements between sovereign states. This issue is clearly formulated in the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, which states that "the Republic of Tajikistan as an independent subject of international law establishes diplomatic, consular, trade and other relations with foreign countries, exchanges competent representatives with them and concludes various socio-economic and international agreements".

Thanks to the wise policy of the Founder of peace and national unity, his excellency Leader of the nation Emomali Rahmon, during the period of independence the Republic of Tajikistan was able not only to establish mutually beneficial relations with the outside world, but also to find a unique approach to diplomacy based on the protection of national interests and respect for universal values, to achieve recognition as an active and influential country in solving global problems. Undoubtedly, Tajikistan's current reputation and influence in the world arena are the result of consistent and tireless efforts of President his excellency Emomali Rahmon. He has won the trust of the people by assuming the responsibility of the country in difficult years and pursuing the highest creative goal, putting the national interest above other interests. The work he has done in recent years has made all people in the country, especially the enlightened people and intellectual forces, look forward to his future plans and programs and confidently follow his path.

It is not without reason that our experience in ensuring peace, returning almost one million refugees to their homeland and permanent place of residence, and organizing social integration has been really appreciated by influential organizations, including the United Nations, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, and thus He has been recognized as a unique peacemaker.
