More than 70 foreign participants, as well as professors and students of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University and other higher educational institutions of Tajikistan participated and made speeches at the XVII Scientific-Practical Conference of Young Scientists and Students. In general, the conference consisted of 13 sections, 1 symposium and webinars related to various fields of surgery, pediatrics and pediatric surgery, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, oncology, urology, dentistry, family medicine, theoretical medicine, pharmacy, non-medical theoretical sciences.

The conference demonstrated to a wide range of participants the achievements of students and young scientists of the Republic of Tajikistan and foreign countries, discussed and developed issues of fundamental and applied research in medicine, modern and innovative technologies in theoretical and clinical medicine, application of new scientific achievements in the higher school.

It should be noted that the number of conference participants and the number of submitted research papers is increasing every year.

At the XVII scientific-practical conference of young scientists and students would be considered 423 of thesis and scientific reports of students and young scientists, 103 of whom are participants from the CIS countries.

It is necessary to emphasize that the materials of the conference are published in the form of a collection of scientific materials.

At the close of the conference, a resolution was approved, which will promote the introduction of modern achievements of students and young scientists into the practice of medical science, the development of health care and public health.
