Teachers and staff of the medical faculty of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, in addition to conducting educational work with students, also collaborate with their parents. The Faculty has organized Parents' Council to the courses and the plan is to have useful meetings with students' parents in stages. On 18.02.2023 faculty and staff of the medical faculty of the University in collaboration with the department of the Tajik language of the University organized and conducted the Parent’s Council of the 1^st year students of the faculty. The purpose of the meeting was to talk to the parents of the students in a free atmosphere about their children's studies, discipline, attendance and other issues that need to be addressed, and to cooperate with them. Parents of students living in the center's catchment areas were invited to this meeting, and more than 35 parents attended the meeting.

During the meeting, deputy dean Burhonova Z.U. addressed various issues with parents in her speech. In particular, the laws of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Responsibility of Parents in Upbringing Children" and "On the Regulation of Holidays and Rites in the Republic of Tajikistan," preventing young people from joining extremist groups, refraining from corrupt practices, discussed intrauniversity rules, order and discipline, personal hygiene, patriotism and diligence, serving the Motherland, and observing recommended clothing in the university. Addressing the parents, they noted that most female students violate the rules regarding the recommended clothing, ignore the comments of representatives of the University Council. Students wear foreign clothes. Some people come to class in printed on clothing and athletic shoes, which is impossible. Male students are less likely to break the dress code, but they like to come to class with a beard and jeans. The aforementioned suggested that parents should pay serious attention to their children's clothing.

Parents were invited to talk to their children about the use of cell phones and be constantly aware of the state of their attendance and education.

At this meeting, Nizomova S.F., head of the department of Tajik language of the University and Kholov D.D., deputy dean of the faculty they thought about aspects of diversity in the daily activities of students and considered the purpose of involving and interacting parents of students with the university. At the end of the session parents of students had a free conversation with the university professors and an exchange of views.
