STOP TERRORISM

STOP TERRORISM

Nowadays, modern society is experiencing changes in the system of values due to the modernization of social life. The processes of globalization in economic, political and cultural spheres, attracting the population of countries to different streams of nature and different levels, complicate the structural relations of specific societies and society as a whole. To a certain extent, these factors create tensions between peoples, which are accompanied by ethnic conflicts, and on this basis various opposition groups emerge, which achieve the desired result through extremism and terrorism.

In recent decades, and especially in the second half of the XX century, terrorism and extremism have attracted the attention of scientists and politicians, especially the priority study of these undesirable phenomena was taken by specialists of Western countries. A question may arise as to why the study of this issue was paid attention to this period, while history proves that terrorism and extremism have been committed in all eras and epochs of social formations. Because only in the second half of the 20th century, among other problems, terrorism and extremism became a global world problem.

Research of this direction is considered in many scientific works of analysts, scientists and politicians, and this problem requires a broad and comprehensive study of this direction, determining the causes, factors and measures to prevent terrorism and extremism. Because this phenomenon represents a type of particularly serious crime that has shaken the world today.

In order to successfully fight agaisnt extremism and terrorism in society, it is necessary to know and understand the criminal nature of these phenomena. In modern science, the concept of "extremism" does not exist in a unified understanding, and there is no unity in international legal practice. "Extremism" can be interpreted as adherence to extreme views and measures. Extremism (from the Latin word extremum - extremism) is the theory and practice of achieving socio-political, religious, national goals by "extremist" and prohibited methods. These methods include the use of illegal force of law, violence, interference in human and civil rights and freedoms.

In this regard, in order to increase the effectiveness of the fight against terrorism and other extremist manifestations, the cooperation and assistance of every member of society in preventing and combating transnational crime is necessary. While the fight against terrorism and extremism is the main task of law enforcement agencies and security structures, at the same time comprehensive support for citizens is also needed. In order to eradicate such extreme tendencies on the part of young people, it is necessary to better address the issues of education and especially education in institutions of primary, secondary and higher vocational education. It is also very important for parents to monitor their children's cell phones. Upbringing begins in the family, and parents are the first to contribute in this direction.
