October 19^th 2023 under the supervision of the rector of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University d.m.s., Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali the University Council of Scientists was held.

At the beginning of the Council, the university staff, who celebrated their birthday in October of the current year, were awarded by the university administration for their valuable and significant contribution to the development of human resources and medicine in the health sector of the country.

During the Council the following issues were considered and discussed:

01. Offer to the scientific title.

02. Report on the activities of the Practical Skills Training Center for the 2022-2023 academic year. Tasks for 2023-2024 academic year.

03. Report on library activities for 2022-2023 academic year. Objectives for 2024-2025 academic year.

04. Report on student learning outcomes for the 2022-2023 academic year and ways to improve its effectiveness.

05. Various issues.

In the work of the Council, according to the agenda, on the activity of the Training Center of Practical Skills of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University in 2022-2023 academic year. The report of the director of the Training Center of Practical Skills c.m.s., Usmonov J.N., on the activity of the University library in 2023-2024 academic year, the report of the director of the Library Boltaeva L.H., on the results of student practice in 2022-2023 academic year and ways to improve its efficiency, the news of the Head of the Internship Department N.I.T., Associate Professor Matinov Sh.K. were heard.

In the section of various questions, the approval of the topic of doctoral dissertation and scientific supervisor of doctoral candidate of the department of topographic anatomy and surgical practice named after professor M.K.Karimov., c.m.s. Qobilov K.K., the approval of the topic of doctoral dissertation and scientific supervisor of doctoral candidate of the department of general surgery №1 named after professor Qahorov A.N., c.m.s., associate professor Salimov J.S. were discussed and considered seriously.

Also rector of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali is responsible for issues of healthy and therapeutic nutrition, wearing of recommended clothing by all staff and teachers of the University and its structures. They are also under supervision. They gave strict instructions to the officials to take these issues seriously.

As a result of the Council's work, the above issues were discussed in useful discussions and appropriate decisions were made for the realization of effective activities.
