December 29, 2022, under the guidance of the rector of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University d.m.s., professor M.Q. Gulzoda with the participation of the Head of the Department of Higher Professional and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan N. Mirzozoda was held the Scientific Council of the University.

During the work of the Council the following issues were discussed:

1. Proposal of the Specialized Commission for awarding the academic title of Associate Professor to Safarzoda Ramazon Sharofiddin, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology.

2. Proposal of the Qualification Commission on the assignment of academic rank of Associate Professor Qahramon Ruziboyzoda - Associate Professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases №1 named after Academician K.M. Qurbonov.

3. Proposal of qualification commission on assignment of the title of associate professor to Rahmonov Khurshed Jamshedovich - associate professor of the department of neurosurgery and mixed injuries.

4. Report on educational and methodical activities in 2021-2022 academic year. Status of implementation of goals, objectives, action plan of "Strategy of development of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University up to 2025" on educational and methodical works.

5. Report on scientific, innovative and publishing activities of the University for 2022. On the status of implementation of goals, objectives, action plan of "Development Strategy of ATSMU until 2025" in terms of scientific, innovative and publishing activities.

6. Report on educational activities of the University for 2022. The status of implementation of goals, objectives, action plan "Strategy of development of ATSMU until 2025" related to educational activities.

7. Report on medical-consulting and sponsorship activities in 2022. Status of implementation of goals, objectives, action plan of "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University Development Strategy until 2025" on therapeutic and consulting activities.

8. Report on the activities of economic-administrative sector, construction and improvement works of the university in 2022.

9. News on the preparation of departments, dean's offices, Department of educational and methodical for the examinations of the winter examination session 2022-2023 academic year.

10. Various issues.

In the section of various issues, issues of approval of the subject of doctoral dissertation and scientific supervisor of doctoral researchers of the Department of Neurology, Psychiatry and Medical Psychology named after Professor Ghulomov M.G. c.m.s., Ghanieva M.T., approval of the subject of doctoral dissertation and scientific supervisor of doctoral researcher Department of Internal Medicine № 3 c.m.s., Uroqov K.Z. and approval of the Regulations on educational and scientific-production center "Pharmacy" of the university. Also the rector of the university, Professor Gulzoda M.Q. and d.m.s., Professor Claudio Colosio of the Department of Occupational Health, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Milan, was awarded the title of professor emeritus of the university. In this section, some of the successful students were awarded university scholarships. The winners of the national competitions "Science is the source of knowledge", "The source of knowledge is a book" and the teaching staff were awarded with the letter of thanks of the rector of the university.
