Scientific club on antifungal and antiviral drugs
May 16th , 2022 at the department of pharmacology held scientific circle on the theme "Antifungal drugs. Antiviral drugs. Anticoronaviral drugs".
The event was attended by 3rd year students, 1-4 groups of the faculty of pharmacy and the teaching staff of the department. Initially, the head of the department Urunova M.V. about coronavirus disease and the importance of ways to prevent it. Then students of the first group Dzhuraeva Nargiza and Sufiev Firuz made a presentation with slides on the topic "Viral diseases and medicines for their treatment". Students Davlatzoda Sayod and Salohiddinzoda Muhandis made a presentation on "Role of antiviral drugs in modern medicine" with a video prepared in Tajik language. The video gave examples of the structure of viruses, their types, ways of virus infection, the mechanism of action of antiviral drugs.
At the end there was a question and answer session between the students and the lecturers.
