Dedicated to the World Day of Hemophilia today, April 17, at the National Library of Tajikistan was held a scientific-public conference, which was attended by the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Shodikhon Jamshed, administration and the members of the society of Hemophiliacs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The purpose of this day is to draw the attention of the international community to the problems of hemophilia, to support them and to expand opportunities to improve medical care for patients with this type of disease.

The Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Shodikhonn Jamshed opened the conference with a good speech, that patients with hemophilia are under the control and care of the State and the Government of the country.

It was noted that with the support of the Government of the country for 6 years in Tajikistan operates the Public Organization of Hemophilia Patients of Tajikistan, which was registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic on February 24, 2017. The purpose of this organization is to protect the rights of hemophiliacs, to provide equal opportunities to other citizens, to solve the problems of treatment and prevention of this disease.

It is worth noting that with the support of the World Federation of Hemophilia Patients, Tajik hemophiliacs received, for the first time, special passports used by hemophiliacs worldwide. The advantage of this passport is that it contains information about the disease and what medication should be used in case of emergency.
