On the basis of the Department of Family Medicine, on May 13, 2022, a scientific and clinical conference was successfully held with youth enthusiasm on the topic: “Clinical pharmacology of drugs used in certain diseases of the gastrointestinal tract”. The organizers of this event were students of the 24th group, 5th year of the Faculty of Medicine. The event was also attended by the head of the department, Ph.D. Yodgorova M.J., Associate Professor of the Department, Ph.D. Inomzoda J.I., assistants Kurbanov A.D., Zebunisoi Khidoyatullo, Sirodzhov S.M., Farzonai Abunasr, students of the 5th year of the group - 15, 16, 23, 25, 26 of the Faculty of Medicine. Under the guidance of the educational assistant of the group Nosirova M.P. students prepared presentations, selected training videos.

Presentations were made by: Azizov Firdavs "Clinical pharmacology of gastroprotectors"; Abdurakhmonov Abdumalik "Clinical pharmacology of choleretic drugs"; Fattokhov Mekhron "Clinical pharmacology of hepatoprotectors"; Rakhmonovа Bonu "Clinical pharmacology of drugs used for constipation". At a high scientific level, the mechanism of action of medicines, indications for use, contraindications, side effects, modern generic names are given to the original names of drugs. As always, the “highlight” of the conference was a pharmaceutical quiz composed of 18 questions, announced in advance by the conference leader, Layli Gafurova.

Traditionally held student events on the basis of the department contribute to the enrichment of the scientific and educational potential of students, the development of creative skills and a responsible attitude to their duties. Intellectual growth prepares students to further enhance their professional knowledge, continuing medical education.
