SADA HOLIDAY

SADA HOLIDAY

On February 9 this year, faculty members in the department of medical biology with the basics of genetics and 30 – 31 curator’s group celebrated Sada holiday. Sada is one of the ancient seasonal festivals of the Aryan people, celebrated on the 10th day of the month of Bahman according to the solar calendar, and falls on the late night of January 30th and early January 31st according to the Gregorian calendar. It can be said that Sada came after the 40-day night of Yaldщ or after the passage of the winter cold and was welcomed as a festival of fire worship and Mehr greatness. This festival is called Sada because it is taken from the number of one hundred and covers 50 nights and 50 days from the 10th of Bachman until the coming of Nowruz. Historical sources and archaeological finds testify that the greatness of fire and the Mercy Rite originated with the ancestors of the Tajiks and other Persian-speaking peoples about ten to twelve thousand years ago, in the expanse of the land of the Aryans.
