The scientific event was conducted April 28^th, 2022 at the Department of Pharmacology with the presence of departmental personnel and medical university students of the second year of medical faculty, under the 4^th term of 2022. The number of event attendees were around 42 students and event has been commenced by welcoming speech of Head of Pharmacology Department Muhabat Vahobovna. She welcomed all students and shared her appreciation for selecting Tajik Medical University in order to pursue their medical degree and emphasized on importance of obtaining deep knowledge on pharmacology as essential part of their medical practice.

The student of group 4, Pankaj Rulaniyashared the PP presentation on “Hypnotics Drugs” through the informative slide presentation. The information contained the physiology and stages of sleep, type of the drugs, classification, mechanism of action, side effects etc. The question-and-answer session was carried out by the event participants related to the Hypnotic drugs complementing and enhancing presenting topic further. The students expressed their satisfaction and requested department to facilitate further such kind of scientific events for better engagement of the students to different relevant topics in the pharmacology department of the university.
