On May 29, 2025, the «Avicenna Tajik State Medical University» welcomed Dr. Oratai Phubunlap Gunasilan, Counselor of the Royal Thai Embassy. During the visit, a meeting was held with the Rector of the University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Muhiddin Nuriddin Davlatali, as well as with representatives of the university administration and faculty members.

The meeting focused on key areas of prospective collaboration within the framework of the Royal Thai Embassy's project entitled “Promoting Thailand's Development Diplomacy through Capacity Building in Health Care for Medical and Public Health Personnel of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan”.

The project aims to strengthen the professional capacity of specialists in the fields of medicine and public health, as well as to expand international scientific and educational cooperation. University representatives expressed interest in participating and affirmed their readiness for active collaboration within the scope of the project.

This engagement stands as a testament to the mutual commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and advancing joint initiatives in medical education and public health.
