On December 25, 2024, the department of pathological physiology at the State Educational Institution "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University" participated online in the meeting of the "Society of Pathophysiologists" in St. Petersburg. The roundtable discussion, organized by the Society of Pathophysiologists, focused on the theme: "Issues in Teaching Pathophysiology: A Candid Discussion of the Challenges".

The event featured the participation of professor O.V. Kryachko, d.m.s., professor V.I. Nikolaev, d.m.s., professor A.I. Tyukavin, professor V.N. Tsygan, Dr.M.Sc., and professor L.P. Churilova. All participants of the roundtable emphasized the significance of studying pathological physiology for all faculties, regardless of their specialization, and highlighted the importance of improving the pedagogical approaches to teaching this subject.

In order to exchange experiences and enhance the quality of teaching and mastery of pathophysiology, d.m.s., Tabariyon, professor at the department of pathological physiology at the State Educational Institution "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University" proposed the organization of an open online lesson.
