Broadcast French Film (Hippocrates)

On December 16, 2021 in Avicenna Tajik State Medical University under the chairmanship of the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, doctor of medical sciences, Professor Ibodzoda S.T. and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Tajikistan and representatives of the Embassy of France to the Republic of Tajikistan hosted a screening of the French film "Hippocrates" by Thomas Lilt.

The meeting was actively attended by staffs, teachers of Public Health and Medical Statistics with a course on medical history department of the university and 5th and 6th year students of the Public Health Faculty.

The meeting was opened by the Vice-Rector of the University, doctor of medical sciences, Professor Ibodzoda S.T., who first introduced and welcomed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Michel TARRAN, deputy Ambassador of France to the Republic of Tajikistan Mr. Philip IDU and cultural attaché of the French Embassy Ms. Eva TOZI. Then he noted that it was a great pleasure for us to present such a film with educational ideas, which is recommended to our university.

The next speech was given to Juraeva N.S., PhD, the head of the Department of Public Health and Medical Statistics with a course in medical history. Firstly, she welcomed honorable guests than noted that the creating such a film with educational ideas is very useful, and it informs us about the following medical ethics which we face these problems of our lives every day. Every graduate of a medical institution who begins his career after taking the medical oath of Hippocrates must not make the mistake that the whole life of society is in their hands. Deontology and medical ethics have always been valuable.

During the meeting, a film was discussed between teachers and students. Teachers and students shared their thoughts about the film.
