October 5 and 6, in light of the wise policy of the leadership of two friendly countries - the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Republic of Belarus, Honorable Alexander Lukashenko, the Second Forum of Rectors of Higher Professional Educational Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus was held in Minsk of the Republic of Belarus.

The above-mentioned forum lasted two days and was attended by more than 50 rectors of higher professional educational institutions of the two countries, who discussed key issues of cooperation and development in the field of education of the two countries.

Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Belarus Safarzoda Bakhtovar and Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Saidzoda Rahim Hamro participated in the opening of the event and made a presentation on the prospects of bilateral relations.

It should be noted that in the work of the Second Forum of Rectors of Higher Professional Educational Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus, rector of SEI "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University" d.m.s., professor Gulzoda M.Q. participated and had s good speech. At the same time, rector held bilateral and multilateral meetings related to the establishment of mutually beneficial cooperation with higher medical institutions of the Republic of Belarus and confirmed a number of cooperation agreements.

The Forum of Rectors of Higher Professional Educational Institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Belarus will contribute to an important step in strengthening educational and cultural ties between the two countries.
