MINI-CONFERENCE WAS HELD AT THE DEPARTMENT OF CHILDREN’S DISEASES №1

On February 26, 2024 at the department of children's diseases №1 was conducted a mini-conference on "Methods of prevention of infectious diseases among the population" with the participation of 4th year students of the medical faculty. Infectious diseases are diseases caused by microbes, fungi, viruses, eggs of parasitic worms and the most common pathogens. Infectious organisms enter the body through air (respiration), food, drink, urine, skin, etc., proliferate and disrupt its activities.

Patients with infectious diseases are treated in a hospital, in some cases at home. Proper care and nutritious food make it easier to treat many infectious diseases. They use vaccination to prevent infectious diseases. The reduction and elimination of infectious diseases largely depends on the structure of society, the development of the national economy, the level of welfare of the population, health care, etc.

At the end, the students expressed their opinion on the topic.
