September 14, 2023 rector of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali with a delegation of guests from Central Asian countries, which in order to participate in the second Forum of rectors of higher professional educational institutions visited Dushanbe, Tajikistan and had meeting.

Rector of the University d.m.s., professor Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali welcomed the rectors of medical institutions of the Republics of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, including rector of the Bukhoro State Medical University d.m.s., professor Teshayev Shuhrat Jumaevich, vice-rector for science of Andijan State Medical Institute d.m.s., professor Salohiddinov Kamoliddin Zuhriddinovich and the first deputy rector of the State Medical Academy of SKO, professor Esirkepov Marlen Mahmudovich. During the meeting the parties expressed their opinion on establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in the direction of training of highly qualified personnel in the field of medicine, academic exchange of professors, teachers, students, holding scientific events of international level. It was emphasized that cooperation will be established at the necessary level and will be strengthened in the future.

At the end of the meeting, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the rectors of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University d.m.s., Gulzoda Mahmadshoh Qurbonali and Bukhara State Medical University d.m.s., professor Teshayev Shuhrat Jumayevich.

After the meeting, the guests visited the new building of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, in particular, the Center of Practical Skills and the electronic library of the university, got acquainted with the activities of the university and thanked the leadership of the university.
