On 06.12.2023 in the State Educational Institution "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University" held a meeting with parents of 2-nd year students from 21 to 34 groups of the Medical Faculty, studying at the Department of Foreign Languages. This event was held on the initiative of the vice-rector for educational work candidate of medical sciences, associate professor Kurbanbekova Parvina Kamchinbekovna, deputy deans of the Medical Faculty Arabzoda Sarvinoz Nazirovna and Gulbekova Sultonbakht Farhodbekovna. This meeting was organized by the head of the department of foreign languages Mahmudova Sayora Safarovna and senior curator of the department Ortukova Sarvinoz Makhmadkulovna and curators.

At this meeting, the vice-rector for educational work spoke about the essence of the law "On the responsibility of parents in the education and upbringing of children", the negative consequences of the modern world and ways to prevent them, as well as important and urgent problems of society to which parents should pay attention.

The message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the founder of peace and unity, the leader of the nation, says: In the conditions of rapid development of society, the main problem of modernity is the lagging behind of the younger generation in education and upbringing, as this creates dangerous threats to the state and the nation as a whole. In order to improve the level and quality of education at all levels of training, the Government of the country is duly providing all necessary facilities and in this process increasing the responsibility of parents, society and teachers.

Education and upbringing of children is the task of parents, teachers, state and society. It is the duty of parents to provide material, financial, moral and psychological conditions for the proper upbringing and education of children.

The leader of the nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, noted the duty of parents that mutual respect, kindness and observance of lawfulness on the part of parents instill in the child's mind respect for personality, self-respect and respect for society. At the same time, parents supported the meeting and expressed gratitude for the initiative of the university.
