On February 16, 2026, a meeting was held at the SEI “Avicenna Tajik State Medical University” between the university administration and representatives of Juntendo University (Japan). From the side of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University, members of the university administration led by the Rector, Professor N.D. Muhiddin, took part in the meeting. Representing Juntendo University were Professor Motoyuki Yuasa and Associate Professor Ishtiaq Ahmad.

During the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to develop bilateral cooperation in the field of medicine, the training of highly qualified specialists, and the exchange of experience. The importance of establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in the interests of both sides was also emphasized.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the administration of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University and the delegation of Juntendo University expressed their hope for further expansion of fruitful cooperation and exchange of experience. The parties exchanged views and confirmed their readiness to initiate successful collaboration that will contribute to the implementation of numerous beneficial and effective initiatives for both sides.
