Within the framework of the work of the 71^st annual scientific-practical conference of the State Educational Institution «Avicenna Tajik State Medical University» with the participation of prominent domestic and foreign scientists and doctors on the theme «Innovations in medicine - from science to practice», 10 sections were held, under the guidance of scientists and doctors domestic and foreign competitions were held. The sections considered important topics in the field of medicine, including topical issues of surgery, oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, topical issues of cardiovascular surgery, plastic surgery, traumatology and neurosurgery, methods of treatment of internal diseases, topical issues of pediatrics, analyzed and discussed issues of dentistry, otorhinolaryngology and ophthalmology, the role of basic sciences in the development of medical sciences, topical issues of public health, development of exact and humanitarian sciences in the country.
