Jamoliddin Abdullozoda participated in the 25th International Conference on the Fight Against HIV/AIDS

Today, July 23, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan, Jamoliddin Abdullozoda, participated in and addressed at the international conference on the fight against HIV/AIDS, which was held in Munich, Germany.

At the conference on “Tajikistan's Experience in Preventing and Combating HIV/AIDS”, Jamoliddin Abdullozoda spoke and shared information with the audience about the experiences acquired in this area."

It was noted that to date, three national programs for the protection of the population from tuberculosis have been implemented in the Republic of Tajikistan. At the same time, the activities of sectoral institutions are ongoing in accordance with the “National Program for the Protection of the Population from Tuberculosis in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025”.

It should be noted that representatives from 175 countries are participating in this conference and will discuss ways to prevent HIV infection until July 26 of this year.

It is worth noting that within the framework of this conference, the Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the country met with Hans Kluge, the Regional Director of the WHO Regional Office for Europe. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the “Roadmap for Health and Well-being in Central Asia for 2022-2025”.
