There was held the 3^rd International Olympiad "Samarqand-2020" with broad participation of medical students from more than 76 medical universities of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkey, France, Malaysia and England in Samarqand State Medical University December 16^th and 17^th , 2022, where (one person each) students of 3, 4, 5 and 6 year of medical, pediatric, stomatological, pharmaceutical and medical-preventive faculties of SEI "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University " under the leadership of the head of the department of youth affairs Mirsharofov Mirsafo.

It should be noted that according its regulations this Olympiad was held among students in 3 rounds, 1st round of which was carried out with control questions, 2nd round with oral questions and 3rd round with clinical skills. University students took an active part in this Olympiad and took honorable places.

-         Juraeva Shukrona Erkinjonovna - 4^th year student of medical and preventive faculty of English language, the 3^rd place;

-         Faizullokhon Raufkhonovich – 3^rd year student of the medical faculty in the field of pathological anatomy, 3rd place;

-         Homidov Izatullo Sodiqovich – 6^th year student of the medical faculty in neurosurgery, 3rd place;

-         Qudratova Mino Bobokalonovna – 6^th year student of the faculty of medicine from ophthalmology, 3rd place;

-         Ghafforova Shahnoza Lutfulloevna – 5^th year student of the pediatrics faculty of Otorhinolaryngology, 3rd place;

-         Isomjonov Asror Ahrorovich – 6^th year student of the medical faculty in traumatology and orthopedics, 1st place;

-         Umarov Firuz Sohibovich - student of the 6^th of the medical faculty in the field of infectious diseases, 1st place;

-         Saifiyeva Safiya Farrukhovna - student of the 4^th year of the faculty of Dentistry in the field of therapeutic stomatology, 1st place;

-         Salohiddinzoda Muhandisi Navruz - student of the 4^th year of the pharmaceutical faculty, medical chemistry, 1st place;

-          Nizomaddinovna Manizha Saifiddinovna - student of the 2^nd year of the medical faculty (best presentation), 2nd place;

-          Halimova Mufara Olimovna – 3^rd year student of the medical faculty, of anatomy, 1st place.

The competition of students in this Olympiad showed that the students of the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University have good medical knowledge and clinical skills.
