On February 28-29, 2024 in the Institute of technology and innovation management in Kulob city was held an international scientific-practical conference on the theme "Integration of science and production in the process of widespread use of modern technologies - the basis of innovation and technological development of production of the country", in the context of the implementation of the strategic goal of the country and the 20th anniversary of the study and development of natural, mathematical and exact sciences for 2020-2040.

Candidate of chemical sciences, assistant of the department of pharmaceutical and toxicological chemistry Kabirov Jovidon Nurmahmadovich took part in the work of the conference from the State Educational Institution "Avicenna Tajik State Medical University" with an oral report (online) (subject of the report: "Complexes of nickel(II) with 18-crown-6 as promising catalysts").

It should be noted that at present the vast majority of industrial processes are catalytic. The range of catalysts use is very wide - from large-scale oil refining, hydrotreating, ammonia production, etc. to synthesis of pharmaceuticals, reagents, wastewater and exhaust gas treatment. In this regard, catalysis is one of the determining elements of scientific and technological progress, since the development and application of highly efficient and selective catalysts will make it possible to intensify production, solve the problems of rational use of natural raw materials and environmental protection.
