After thousands of years of state-lessness, through Independence, we have a state. Undoubtedly, in the course of history, the greatest achievement of our people is state independence. It is a pity that at the beginning of the country's Independence, special groups started destabilizing and destroying the political situation. The rascal class used murder as a means to achieve and realize their nefarious goals. Such brutality instilled fear in the hearts of the people of the country and despair gripped the society. No one believed in a brighter tomorrow, and everyone thought that the fate of a neighboring country had befallen us as well.

Fortunately, being together with ideas got a place in the hearts of the Tajik people, and on November 16, 1992, the XVI session of the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Tajikistan was held, which entered the history of the nation under the name "Momentous Session". It was held in the Arbob Palace. At that time, the hope of the people of the country was on Khujandcity, that a wise and far-sighted man would enter the political arena and turn Tajikistan into a democratic, legal and secular country. On this momentous day, the Leader of the nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon was elected Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In his first speech, the newly elected head of the country, Emomali Rahmon, set as his main goal the creation of a democratic, legal and secular state: "I will start my work with peace. I am a supporter of a democratic state based on law. We must all be brothers and sisters to improve the situation. I will try my best in this direction. I will use all my knowledge and experience to restore peace in every home and family. I work faithfully for the prosperity of my dear homeland. Because I believe in the good future of my homeland and the happy life of my suffering people."

The determination of the Leader of the nation led to the prosperity of the nation and state. This prosperity and success has blinded the eyes of some foreign patrons. Now some detractors of the nation living abroad are interrupting and accusations against the nation and the government. Medically, today, members of the terrorist and extremist organization HNI, who use the Internet as their platform and constantly promote conflicts and terrorist acts under the guise of Islam, are suffering from mental illness. This anonymous group think they are trapping the youth of the country, but they are wrong. The young men and women of the country understand the value of peace and freedom and are loyal to the state and the Leader of the nation.

We the people of the country have a duty to contribute to the prosperity of our beloved motherland by following the constructive policies of the great Leader of the nation.

We, medical workers, should fulfill our mission to the society with our heads held high.

Based on the instruction and orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, in order to provide the country's healthcare institutions with high-level specialists as soon as possible, the second State Medical University was opened in Khatlon region in 2016. doors to the future doctors of the country. Now experienced specialists are training students in this educational center. This university has educational bases for training professional doctors, and conditions for theoretical and practical scientific training are provided by the rectorate of the university.

Thanks to the achievement of state independence and the strong will of the great son of the Tajik nation, the Founder of peace and national unity - Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali, the reform process The country has expanded the scope of health care, that is, the issues of improving the level, quality and efficiency of health care services.

Based on the instructions and directives of the Leader of the nation, medical services have been radically changed throughout the republic, and medical institutions have been fully equipped with modern and up-to-date technologies, taking into account the capabilities and requirements of modern medicine. According to statistical data, if at the beginning of 1991 in Dushanbe only 30 hospitals provided medical assistance to the population, now, excluding temporary hospitals, the number of medical institutions in the capital exceeds 60. This indicator shows that Tajik medicine is centralized and there is no need to travel to another country for treatment and diagnosis.

Doctors have a dignified role to play in the society with a lot of responsibility. As we all know well, in 2019, the disease caused by Corona virus has spread in the world and this disease has claimed many lives in more than 1 year. Unfortunately, the people of our country were also affected by this disease and there were also human casualties. According to statistics, this plague of the century had less impact in our country and Tajik doctors fought the disease with knowledge, skill and sincerity. In this dangerous period, Tajik doctors were able to fulfill their mission to the people and the country with their heads held high.

The great scholar Avicenna described the mission of the physician in society as follows: "If poets are the rulers of the sphere of speech, physicians are the angels of health, because poets elevate the human spirit with pleasant words, and physicians give it health by devotion and charity".

In fact, doctors have a great responsibility in life and a true doctor thinks only of restoring the health of the patient. Today, the medical professionals of the country are faithful to their oath. Experienced doctors are well aware of the mission of their profession and cherish the identity of the profession. Medical workers are dressed in white coats and try harder than ever to contribute to the protection of the precious wealth of the state, i.e. the health of the nation.
