During 2022 in the direction of introducing new surgical methods in healthcare institutions of Khatlon region 25 types of new surgical operations previously not performed in healthcare institutions of the oblast were introduced.

In particular, a new surgical method for bile ducts, solitary cysts of the liver, kidneys and female organs was performed at the Clinical Hospital after A. Haqnazarov in Kulob under the control of diagnostic equipment. Also, in B. Vahidov Regional Clinical Hospital in Bokhtar, patients diagnosed with duct narrowing underwent "augmentation retroplasty" surgery using lung mucosa, "pulmonary echinococcosis" surgery by thoracoscopic method using video assisted and reconstructive surgery on the ear table path was abandoned.

At the same time, during hospitalization in the regional center of surgery, the operation "Trepanning craniotomy of the occiput left with removal of a cystic intracerebral tumor of the occiput left", the operation "Craniotomy of the frontal bone left with removal of an intracerebral tumor of the frontal bone left" was performed, surgery "Craniotomy of different bones of the head on both sides, predominantly on the left with removal of a tumor of the middle third of the sagittal sinus of the brain on the left", surgery "Laminectomy of C4-C5-C6-C7 seals with removal of intradural tumor of the spinal cord" and etc.

During this period, a nephrostoma was applied to kidney cysts at the Central Hospital of Farkhor district using a diagnostic apparatus.
