HEALTH CARE POSITION IN THE MESSAGE OF THE LEADER OF THE NATION

In order to clarify the items of the Message of President of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of health care on January 16 of this year at the University was held a round table with graduate and undergraduate students, interns and residents of clinical departments. Sharifzoda Dodkhudo, assistant to the First Deputy President of the Republic of Tajikistan for the National Unity and Revival Movement of Tajikistan, had a speech and expressed his opinion on the health-related items in the President's message. Among other things, it was mentioned that the great Leader of the nation, the respected Emomali Rahmon, in his message assessed the health sector as one of the most important areas of life, because the health of the nation is considered the most important issue in the social policy of the state. The need to overhaul medical facilities and provide them with modern equipment was emphasized.

Thankfully, the government of the country, under the leadership of Leader of the nation, has made great progress in this direction. We are only reminded of the period of the Covid 19 pandemic, and it is no longer necessary to explain it. That is, in such a difficult situation of the modern world, which has become the number one problem of the planet in the past few years, only in the capital, as of May 20, 2020 there are more than 30 hospitals with 5 thousand 284 beds and more than 5 thousand 390 doctors and medical workers are serving the patients "Covid-19". Taking into account these difficulties, the government of Tajikistan has further increased budget spending on the health sector and included it in the priority policy strategy of the state. While in 2008 the health sector budget was 255.8 million somoni, in 2020 it reached 1 billion 841 million somoni. They also quoted the speech of the head of state during the grand opening of the new building of the University on September 1, 2022 about the success of the country's health care, and stated that "...during the period of independence the institutions were built and put into operation in the country and today there are 5116 medical institutions in the country. In the three years of preparation for the 30th anniversary of state independence alone, 1,858 health care facilities were built, and in the six months of 2022, 61 facilities were built."

The work of the meeting was led by Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Muhabbatzoda J.V. summarized and stated that in accordance with the wise policy and instructions of the head of state, Avicenna Tajik State Medical University which is the largest higher education institution in the country in the field of health care, has taken the necessary measures in accordance with the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Tajikistan. We will make every effort to continue preserving the skills and abilities we have acquired in the development of medicine in our independent country and to present to the world that we are the heirs of Tajik Sinai.
