We must not forget that the progress of the state and the prosperous future of the Motherland depend directly on the level of knowledge and education of the people.

The respected head of state his excellency Emomali Rahmon instructed the government, leaders and employees of relevant sectors to take measures, by 2026, to use all opportunities to turn citizens older than 18, who do not have any professions and skills, into entrepreneurs. They also instructed to take immediate measures to improve the quality of education and vocational training in educational institutions and to attract the population, especially young people and women, to learn the skills and crafts necessary for the labor market.

Avicenna Tajik State Medical University is considered one of the most prestigious institutions of higher professional education of the Republic of Tajikistan and plays a significant role in training highly qualified specialists in the field of health care, development of medical science and strengthening public health.
