Terrorist actions of the early 20th century

September 16-17, 1982 on the outskirts of Beirut. Lebanese Phalangist Christians conducted a military operation in the Palestinian refugee camps of Sabra and Shatila to find Palestinian militants, which turned into a massacre of civilians. As a result, between 700 and 3,500 innocent people were killed in Sabra and Shatila, according to various estimates.

March 20, 1995, Tokyo. A sarin gas attack occurred at the Kasumigaseki and Nagatatayo subway stations. 12 people were killed and 54 people were poisoned. This terrorist attack was carried out by the Aum Shinrikyo organization.

October 18, 2007, Karachi, Pakistan. The bloodiest terrorist attack in the history of Pakistan took place. Two terrible explosions took place on the road of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, who returned from exile and was driving along one of the streets of this city. The death toll reached 140 people, more than 500 people were injured.

December 27, 2007, Rawalpindi. Benazir Bhutto, who was participating in a rally with her supporters, was the victim of a terrorist attack. A terrorist seeking death first shot at him and then detonated an explosive device. Benazir Bhutto and 20 other people were killed as a result.

November 14, 2015 in France. At the same time, 7 attacks occurred in central France, killing more than 140 people and injuring hundreds more.

On January 31, 2015, three explosions occurred on Sayed Zainabi Street in Damascus. Dozens of cars and stores were set on fire as a result. Houses near this operation were destroyed, 59 people were killed and 128 people were injured.

On March 13, 2016, a terrorist attack took place at a bus station in the center of Istanbul, the capital of Turkey. People exploded a car in the middle of two buses during a social gathering in the capital, killing 37 people and injuring 125 others.

March 22, 2016, Belgium. Two explosions occurred at Brussels airport and one at a metro station, killing 36 people and injuring dozens.

On July 14, 2016, there was a terrorist attack in Nice. A 31-year-old man from Tunisia drove a truck through pedestrians, killing 86 people and injuring 308.
