Assistant to the chair Karimova M.D. made a speech and said that at the present time for formation of new world outlook in order to get out of the spiritual crisis and find the moral ideal, it is necessary to revive human values such as humanism, justice, courtesy, mercy, compassion, friendship, mutual understanding, etc. That is why today studying the best human achievements of the past, research of the most important directions in the history of human thought would be as useful for development of the modern education system as some innovations. Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi is one of such personalities.

Mawlana Jalaluddin Rumi was a 13th-century Persian poet, Islamic dervish and Sufi mystic. He is considered to be one of the greatest spiritual teachers and poets of his time. Born in 1207 A.D., he came from a family of learned theologians. He used the circumstances of daily life to reveal the spiritual world. Rumi's poems became immensely popular, especially among the Persian-speaking people of Afghanistan, Iran and Tajikistan. Numerous poems written by the great poet have been translated into different languages. Shamsiddin Tabrezi was his teacher. The two men became very close friends. His poetry collection was dedicated specifically to Shamsuddin who was a true friend and inspiration to Jalaluddin. He also has a collection of poems arranged in rhyme scheme. This man's work is considered to be one of the greatest works of Persian literature. Rumi spent most of the last years of his life in Anatolia, where he completed six volumes of his poem Masnavi. This work is a collection of six volumes of poetry written in a didactic style. Rumi's views, his judgements, and ideas on educational issues are immortalised in his greatest work, "Masnavi Maanavi". Quotes from his Masnavi Maanavi "Try not to resist the changes that come into your life. Instead, let life live through you. And don't worry about it being turned upside down. How do you know that the life you are used to is better than the one that is coming?" "The one who has found happiness in you is yours. Everyone else is a guest."

Jalaluddin devoted the last years of his life to creativity, creating many magnificent poems (rubai, qasidas, ghazals). Their main theme is religion, wisdom, and the value of man. The ideas of the written works gave birth to a revolutionary spirit in the hearts of readers.
