On July 3, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan hosted a Forum on Cooperation and Exchange of Experience between Tajikistan and China in the Field of Traditional Medicine. The event was attended by Muhsinzoda Ghafur Muhsin, First Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan, and representatives from the Chengdu University of Traditional Medicine, China.

The event was opened with a welcoming address by Muhsinzoda Ghafur Muhsin, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection, who greeted the guests in Tajikistan.

It was noted that cooperation between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People's Republic of China in the fields of health and social protection has achieved significant success, reflecting the efforts of the leaders of both countries.

The forum, which was held with the participation of staff from the Chengdu Institute of Traditional Medicine, once again lays a solid foundation for the priority direction of the sector, namely cooperation in the field of traditional medicine, exchange of information, achievements in traditional medicine, establishment of a system for training, retraining, and advanced training of specialists, as well as conducting scientific research in this direction, developing common principles for the accreditation of specialists, ensuring safety, and quality of service.

Traditional medicine is widely used in most countries around the world, and more and more countries are recognizing the importance of traditional medicine in healthcare and successfully integrating it into their national healthcare systems.

At the forum, short videos were shown to the attendees about the successes and achievements of the Chengdu University of Traditional Medicine of the People's Republic of China and the activities of the Republican Center for Traditional Medicine of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan.
