At the educational-scientific and clinical center of “Dentistry” of SEI “Avicenna Tajik State Medical University” there is a phantom room with dental equipment, which has a great importance in improving students' knowledge and developing their practical skills.

 At the department of medical dentistry, the 2^nd year from the dental propaedeutics and 3^rd year therapeutic dentistry students worked with artificial teeth attached to the head mould in compliance with all sanitary requirements.

With the help of the dental equipment, they develop their manual skills, learn the principles of Black's class drilling, endodontic techniques, cavity and root canal topography, instrumental and medication treatment of root canals, and techniques for filling them.

Students under the guidance of the head of the department of medical dentistry c.m.s., Yorakov F.M., in the reception room of patients conducted methods of external examination of the oral cavity, teeth, periodontium, oral mucosa. The differential diagnosis of periodontal diseases and other non-tumor diseases was analyzed in the course of the class.
