On March 5-6, 2024 at the department of Russian language of Avicenna Tajik State Medical University was held a student scientific-practical conference dedicated to the Mother's Day - March 8 on the theme "Education of moral qualities of the personality of student youth on the example of Tajik scientists - women in medical science".

The conference was attended by 1st year students of all faculties of the university and curatorial groups.

The conference was opened by professor Yuldoshev U.R., head of the department of Russian language, doctor of pedagogical sciences, who in his welcoming speech wished everyone success in their studies and research activities. Then he reminded the students what an important role women medical scientists play in the development of medical science in Tajikistan. It is difficult to imagine Tajik medical science without such female scientists as S.H. Hakimova, K.A. Hasanova, M.T. Pulatova, M.M. Yakubova, H.K. Babaeva, L.I. Ismailova, S.M. Kabulova, A.M. Mirakilova. Z.D. Akhrorova, M.A. Gafarova, M.T. Takhirova, M.M. Mukhamedkulova, A.M. Saburova. Sharipov, Sh.A. Anvarov, M.F. Dodkhoev and many others. Along with medical and research work they were engaged in pedagogical activities, teaching students, masters, doctoral students - educating them in the spirit of patriotism, humanism, love for the profession.

Associate professor M.R. Nazarova, senior Lecturers S.A. Hotamova, M.D. Varakyan, lecturers R.R. Kamolova, D.H. Sultanova and others in their speeches told about the life and activities of female medical scientists of Tajikistan. They talked about how each of these women scientists has passed a difficult path, overcoming domestic, material and life difficulties, managed to become a good doctor, a fruitful scientist, made a huge contribution to the development of health care in the Republic of Tajikistan. The students in their speeches noted what an indelible impression was made on them by acquaintance with the life and activity of women scientists of Tajikistan. They will serve as role models.
