It is a reason to rejoice that the need to strengthen the foundations of legal education of citizens has been raised at the highest level of state policy. This opinion was expressed by the Founder of peace and national unity, Leader of the nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan his Excellency Emomali Rahmon in his speech on the occasion of the 15^th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan in 2009. "Respect, observance and implementation of the Constitution, laws and other normative legal documents require both officials and citizens to have high professional knowledge and legal education".

In general, education and legal training are part of the overall process of spiritual formation of personality and social consciousness, without which it becomes impossible to create a law-based society with the proclamation of the supreme value of man, his rights and freedoms.

In this regard, on December 28, 2023, the Leader of the nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, during his annual Message "On the main directions of domestic and foreign policy of the republic", analyzed and studied all the main directions of public life. development of economic, social, political and spiritual spheres of the republic, made a comprehensive decision using effective experience and defined the prospects of the main directions of domestic and foreign policy of the country for 2024 and subsequent years.

At the same time, in order to strengthen the rule of law, it was proposed to declare 2024 the "Year of Legal Education" in honor of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Heads of State emphasized that the third program of legal education and training for 2020-2030 is being implemented in the country, and ensuring the rule of law as an important issue in the country's legal system plays a key role. They also instructed the officials to take concrete measures to introduce modern electronic technologies in the activity of courts.

It is worth noting that the formation of a full-fledged personality from the legal point of view is done in stages. The first brick in this process is the family environment. The level of upbringing in the family depends primarily on the level of spiritual maturity of the parents and the ways and methods of family upbringing.

This process continues in pre-school and secondary general and vocational educational institutions.

In general, improving the level of education and legal upbringing of citizens requires coordinated work of all state structures and other segments of society.

It would also be good if the mass media, given its broad platform of influence, information and legal education, helped to solve pressing issues of constitutional rights of citizens and legislation in force in society by involving lawyers in solving legal issues. problems of citizens.

In the light of these beneficial actions of the Head of the state respected Emomali Rahmon, we, teachers, need to try with a high sense of responsibility in the process of teaching to form legal knowledge of students and thus make a small contribution to the process of building and forming a progressive and just society.
