Under the initiative of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and in collaboration with the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Health Workers and the Football Federation of Tajikistan, a series of events were organized. These events were held in honor of the renowned Tajik scholar, philosopher Avicenna (ABuali ibni Sino); the Day of Medical Workers in the Republic of Tajikistan; the 33^rd anniversary of the state Independence; and the official designation of May 25 as "World Football Day." From July 3 to August 8 of this year, the eighteenth annual mini-football tournament took place, featuring competition among 13 teams from institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan.

In the final round, the teams representing the State Health Service and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan and Avicenna Tajik State Medical University vied for the championship title. The team from the State Health Service and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan secured first place, while the team from Avicenna Tajik State Medical University earned second place. The third place was awarded to the team from the National Medical Center of Tajikistan “Shifobakhsh”.

The victorious teams were presented with trophies, medals, souvenirs, and a joint Certificate of Honor from the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republican Committee of the Trade Union of Workers of Health and Social Protection of Tajikistan.
