Dear mothers, women, sisters and children!

I sincerely congratulate all of you on Mother's Day, a holiday that is very significant to all of us.

I wish each of you, first of all, health and happiness, prosperity and abundance in the house.

It is very symbolic that this glorious holiday is celebrated annually in the first days of nature's awakening, with the onset of spring fragrance and on the eve of the International Navruz.

A woman - mother is the source and creator of life, a symbol of purity and beauty, a woman is a storehouse of love and fidelity, a living embodiment of maternal tenderness and sincerity.

Mother, her role and value in the life of mankind have been repeatedly glorified with warmth by poets, writers, scientists and sages of different nations of the world.

Here is what one of these great people said: “Mother is the most beautiful word a person utters for the first time.

Mother is the only miracle of nature, even death cannot separate us from her.

Mother's heart is a boundless source of love, tenderness, care and forgiveness”.

That is why each of us is indebted to our mother for her white life-giving milk, lullabies full of hopes and dreams, tenderness and caress, instructions and blessings.

None of us can compensate for the labors and sleepless nights of a mother.

But in any case we, sons, should strive to appreciate loving mothers, their day and night labor, worries, so that we can serve them and receive their good blessings.

Because a mother is the most sacred, the most precious and priceless creature for a human being and deserves to be honored, loved and cared for.

All politicians and statesmen, scientists and geniuses, all great people of the world, including prophets, grew up in the arms of a mother, with her white milk, surrounded by her tenderness and affection.

This sacred creature carries all the burdens of home life on her shoulders, from raising children to maintaining the family hearth, and actively participates in the daily life of society and the state, fulfills the most difficult tasks, including in the spheres of industry, construction and agriculture, military structures and law enforcement agencies.

The warm, heartfelt celebration of Mother's Day testifies to the fact that our state and government, the whole society appreciate and honor a woman-mother.

Considering the fact that women and girls make a great and valuable contribution to the political, economic, social and cultural life of the country, the State and the Government of the country put the issue of ensuring their rights and interests in the first place.

Constant care for women, support of their creative initiatives, creation of favorable conditions for the implementation of their good deeds are the result and expression of this policy.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all respected and dear mothers, women and girls of the country for their worthy contribution to the protection of freedom and independence, peace and stability, national unity and development of the Tajik state.

We ourselves are living witnesses of the worthy merits of mothers, all women, during the difficult days of the history of the Tajik nation-state, that is, during the period of the imposed civil war in the early 1990s.

They patiently and faithfully supported the policy adopted by us, which will never be forgotten.

I would also like to recall with confidence and respect that our women and men are the "wings" of society and the driving force of the State towards a prosperous and peaceful future.

Therefore, creating the necessary conditions for the greater development of the abilities of women and girls engaged in all spheres of the national economy, and thus ensuring the sustainable development of society, is the main goal of the State and the Government of Tajikistan.

Today, our women are making a valuable contribution to all spheres of life in society and the State, including socio-economic spheres, the activities of military structures and law enforcement agencies, and are making a valuable contribution to the gradual development of the country.

In particular, we should especially and gratefully emphasize their role in housekeeping, handicrafts, sewing, jewelry and confectionery, in mastering crafts, attracting women and young housewives to work, training young people in professions and thus raising the standard of living of every family in the country.

With all this in mind, we must constantly strive to further enhance the role and place that a woman mother deserves in society.

Addressing the esteemed men, I would like to emphasize one important issue, namely, that despite all the difficulties in life, to be patient, to avoid violence in the family, to create conditions for their children, especially girls, for them to study sciences, acquire knowledge, professions and crafts, so that in their future life they do not experience difficulties.

It should be noted that the role of women is very tangible in promoting peace and stability, protecting national and cultural values, and instilling in children a sense of patriotism, national pride, humanism and responsibility.

In this regard, I would like to remind you that the hard work of giving birth to a child and raising it rests most of all on the shoulders of the mother.

That is why, as long as she is alive, a mother strives to ensure that her child is healthy and happy.

We also wish that no mother should feel the pain of losing her child or shed tears of bitterness.

On the contrary, we want the eyes of mothers to always shine with joy at the happiness of their children and grandchildren.

We, men, born and brought up by mothers, are obliged to show respect to a woman-mother not only on holidays, but also every moment and hour, always and throughout our lives, to show them care and tenderness, to serve them, to strive to be worthy of their good blessing.

It is not for nothing that our people used to say that "A mother is pleased - God is also pleased".

Mothers and wives are a bright lamp and a source of warmth in the home.

They are the guides in every family, above all, the source of abundance, the authority of the family largely depends on mothers, women.

We all know well from the mass media that in recent years humanity has faced severe and even tragic problems - wars and bloodshed, low water and drought, poverty and hunger, other problems.

According to the United Nations, the population of dozens of countries is currently experiencing hunger.

Our compatriots have witnessed that last fall and this winter were without rainfall in our country.

Our esteemed mothers and women should continue to be a model and example in observing the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On the Ordering of Traditions, Celebrations and Rites in the Republic of Tajikistan", strive to save money and prevent any ostentatious wastefulness.

We should be grateful, constantly think about our family and children, ensuring food supplies for at least two years.

Mothers and women are responsible for fulfilling the requirements of the Law on the Responsibility of Parents for the Education and Upbringing of Children, raising children in the spirit of love of knowledge, learning professions and crafts, good behavior and respect for elders, and preparing them for independent life.

Naturally, men, i.e. fathers, also bear a great responsibility for solving these issues.

But the heartbeat of a child, his aspirations are best felt and understood by a loving mother.

I am absolutely sure that our dear mothers, women and girls endowed with a sense of pride will continue to continue the good and constructive traditions of our ancient people, revive customs, spread national dishes and clothes, honor the ancient history and culture of the nation, prevent the feeling of imitation of foreign things, beautify our beloved Motherland, and make a worthy contribution to ensuring peace and tranquility in society and the development of our independent state.

With the feeling of honoring the sacred personality of a woman-mother once again from the heart, sincerely congratulate all dear mothers, dear women and girls of Tajikistan on Mother's Day - a bright holiday of spring, beauty, fidelity and love, I wish each of them health, good luck and a prosperous family life.

Dear mothers, dear women and girls, always remember that we, men and your children, love you from the bottom of our hearts, will never forget your merits and will never allow you to experience difficulties and hardships.

Be always happy, joyful and successful in everything, dear mothers and girls of the country!
