Employees of the department of propaedeutics of children diseases for one week from November 29 to December 4 of 2021, according to the schedule, conducted practical classes at the Center for practical skills of the SEI “ATSMU” with 3-year students of medical and pediatric faculties as well as 2-year bachelors. The topic of the classes was devoted to the research methodology and semiotics of cardiovascular disorders in children. The staff of the Center for practical skills showed a video about the technique of subcutaneous, intramuscular and intravenous injections. Students honed their practical skills on dummies and simulators (Harvey and Sim baby), listened to heart sounds in normal and pathological conditions, provided first aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest.

At the department of propaedeutics of children diseases in the second semester 3^rd year students take a course of clinical skills. According to the department plan and the schedule of practical classes, in the 2^nd semester it’s also planned to conduct classes at the Center for practical skills where students will independently carry out all types of injections, as well as master new skills.
